Thanks must go to Todd Carmichael at Expedition Earth for the original link.
Remember that Scott needs your support still as part of Virgin Media Shorts. Rate, comment, pass to your friends and hopefully we shall see you on the shortlist come voting time.

Balti and Havana are delighted that their new short 'Scott of the Antarctics' has been championed by Greenpeace in their latest blog. As well as showing their support for a "...gorgeous little piece...", everybody's best known environmentalists have been kind enough to lend their support to the film in the Virgin Media Shorts Competition.
Cheers Greenpeace, and keep up your excellent work.
'Scott of the Antarctics'
2nd July 2008
Balti and Havana are proud to present their latest short 'Scott of the Antarctics'. Dealing with the ever-growing threat of climate change, 'Scott of the Antarctics' tackles the issue through the mind of a child adventurer and his precious toy penguin.
Based upon a child's unique view of the world and his discovery of climate change, 'Scott of the Antarctics' will be soon out on the festival circuit, and your support for the young scamp's adventure is very much appreciated.
'Scott of the Antarctics' has been made available in two edits. A first, shorter edit, has been entered into the Virgin Media Shorts competition:

The event, beginning at noon in Manchester's Cathedral Gardens, has been billed "the longest ever intelligent conversation" and will feature the likes of Steve Coogan, Mark Radcliffe, Peter Hook, Stuart Maconie and Alan McGee.
As a creative entity, Balti and Havana feels it essential to support such activity and are looking forward to making good on our invitation. We look forward to seeing you there.
'B&H Announce July Skies Collaboration'
5th March 2008
Balti and Havana are delighted to announce an exciting forthcoming collaboration with pastoral shoegazers July Skies , who will be scoring their highly-anticipated new short, 'Vermin'.
Of the forthcoming project, July Skies' Anthony Barnes says:
"...this is superb! It reminds me of some great 'cusp of childhood' films I have seen before like 'The Reflecting Skin' or 'Ratcatcher' and maybe a hint of 'My Summer Of Love' in terms of catching the essence of summer - really burns into your memory."
Balti and Havana are very excited by this partnership between two highly talented groups of such similar spirit, and look forward to beginning the scoring process on completion of the initial edit of 'Vermin'.

It's Easter
9th April 2007
Easter, the Sunday of the Resurrection, or Resurrection Day, is the most important religious feast of the Christian liturgical year. It has to be, as some kind of feast must replace the eternal fasting of individual spirit and human endeavour insisted upon by such nonsense.
In celebration of our own continual invention, reinvention, and human ascension we present a film for you.

Balti and Havana's "I Don't Get Lonely" will be screened as part of the Exposures Film Festival, BBC Best of the North West. The screening begins at 6PM on MONDAY 4TH DECEMBER. Tickets for the screenings are £3 (£2 Concessions). Tickets do tend to go quickly for this, and we would urge you once again to head down there - friends in tow - and get behind the dark agenda of Balti and Havana. Your only other option is to spend the rest of your time watching vapid, shit, meaningless, soulless films.
We don't want that now, do we?
2. IN PRODUCTION
Despite busy times on many levels, and no shortage of upheaval, the march into the Light continues unabated. As we speak two shorts are nearing the end of their cycles; soon to be birthed upon you all. It is customary to say little about these shorts, and let the screenings do the talking. Trust us when we tell you that they touch upon all that is rotten in the world, but through a particularly warm glow.
3. FORTHCOMING
Balti and Havana are currently in negotiations, both creative and financial, to elevate our operations ever higher. Whilst little can be spoken at present (you know us too well by now as it is - we favour actions over words), we are very excited by the possibilities before us, and can only see them as great successes.
4. OTHER NEWS
Keep an eye on www.baltiandhavana.co.uk for our gift to you. Whilst we might be a touch too grounded in reality to subscribe to the false prophet/real profit agenda of the year's end, we shall nonetheless be seeing fit to present you with a little gift of our own.
We hope that you enjoy it, and that it makes you active.
